Friday, April 4th, at noon will be the next Bach’s Lunch featuring our very own Emmanuel Choir performing Saint Mark Passion by Charles Wood as a special Lenten musical devotion. Revered as one of the finest compositions in the Passiontide genre, the “Saint Mark Passion” begins with the plainsong hymn, “Sing, My Tongue, the Glorious Battle” and ends with the last verse of the same hymn. In between, soloists and the Emmanuel Choir will sing the Gospel narrative. Bring a bag lunch, and come enjoy the music!
