Gather in Community

At Emmanuel, we gather to enrich our lives through friendships. Whether we are gathering for pizza and beer in the garden, to listen to a classical music concert, to share lemonade after worship, or by sharing a meal with our brothers and sisters in Christ, we always seek to grow in relationship. You are loved. You are included.

Join us in person each Sunday for our 8:00 am and 10:00 am services.

Our Sunday Nursery services are available from 9am-12pm.

Bach's Lunch- John Hatcher and the City Lights Jazz Trio

On Friday, September 8th, we’ll start this year’s Bach’s Lunch series with a jazz program led by our resident jazz musician and expert, Mr. John Hatcher. Known for his tenor saxophone stylings and for playing a mean harmonica, John will be joined by the City Lights Jazz Trio, based in Raleigh. The trio will consist of Gary Brunotte, who is a keyboardist, arranger, producer, and National Endowment for the Arts winner composer, vocalist Meghan Causey, and bassist Rick Wolff. The quartet will offer a variety of standard jazz favorites, including Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life, Água de Beber, Alfie, I Love Paris, and many other treasured songs. Attendees are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch to enjoy during the music and a suggested donation of $10 will go to the support of the music ministry of the parish. We hope you will join us and these fantastic musicians for an afternoon respite of jazz.
